FACEF is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to promoting cultural and intellectual exchanges between the people of Australia, France, and French Overseas Territories.

FACEF’s programs aim to expand the range of spaces that French and Australian art professionals can access and work in. Our international partnerships strive to create unique programs and collaborations that set a new precedent between Australia and France.

Residency Programs

As FACEF’s signature initiative, the cross-residency programs offer French and Australian creative practitioners with the opportunity to live, create and ideate in the other’s home country. Artists, intellectuals and professionals are welcome to apply.

Exchange Program Grants

FACEF provides grants to selected projects involved in promoting cultural exchange between France and Australia.

Special Programs

FACEF supports special projects that foster intercultural connections in partnership with cultural and academic institutions.

ABOUT US

FACEF a été créée en 2024 dans le cadre de la feuille de route bilatérale, initiative conjointe entre les gouvernements français et australiens. Ce programme inédit entre les deux pays vise à renforcer la visibilité, les échanges et la coopération entre artistes, professionnels de l’art et institutions françaises et australiennes.
